‘The Office’ star, St. Louis native Jenna Fischer attends St. Louis Blues game

The St. Louis Blues and Nashville Predators went head-to-head in a Black Friday battle at Enterprise Center, and one popular St. Louis celebrity was in attendance.

Jenna Fischer, a St. Louis native and star of the hit NBC series “The Office,” took in the action in a return visit to her hometown, and the crowd went wild when she appeared on the scoreboard.

During a celebrity look-alike feature during a stoppage in play, fans were compared to “The Office” characters based on their appearance. When Fischer’s character, “Pam Beesly,” came on the screen the camera panned to the actress resulting in loud cheers and applause.

Fischer also posed for additional social media posts for the Blues latching on to a famous quote from former Blues Captain Wayne Gretzky and her co-star Steve Carell’s character “Michael Scott” made popular on the show.

And over the course of the nine-season run of “The Office” other St. Louis celebrity natives made their way into starring roles on the show. Phyllis Smith played Phyllis Lapin-Vance and Ellie Kemper portrayed Erin Hannon.
