The Cosby Show’s Malcolm-Jamal Warner admits he had a massive crush on Lisa Bonet who played his sister on the show

MALCOLM-JAMAL Warner, who played Bill Cosby’s only son on The Cosby Show, has revealed he had a crush on one of his onscreen sisters.

Warner, who played Theo Huxtable from age 13-21, says he used to lust after his onscreen sister, Lisa Bonet, who played Denise.

“We were so close in age,” Warner told Access Hollywood Live. “But, you know, I never had a shot. You just know. At 13, 14, you know when you have a shot or not, even at that age.”

He went on to say that the pair are still friends.

“She’s cool. Lisa and I, we’ve always been very cool,” he said. “We bonded over such a unique experience that that bond, no matter how much time goes by that we don’t speak, that bond is still there, very strong.”

Bonet of course was dating rocker Lenny Kravitz, with whom she had a daughter with, Zoe.

Warner started dating his Cosby girlfriend Justine (Michelle Thomas) until her death from stomach cancer in 1998.
