Massimo visits the grave of his twin brother, Adriano, who was killed during the final events of the previous film. Laura muses about her miraculous survival and wonders what she should do with this second chance. Should she return to Massimo or choose Nacho?
However, Massimo is still suspicious of Laura because of her previous escape with Nacho and accuses her of cheating on him. And Laura accused his family of being the reason she lost her precious child. Nacho also continuously contacted, met, and made Laura obsessed with him to the point of imagining Massimo as Nacho.
Saddened by the prospect of her marriage falling apart, Laura keeps busy by advancing her career in fashion and becoming a brand ambassador. Both Massimo and Nacho try to hold Laura back, but she is not sure who she loves, nor does she know who she should choose.
