Scarlett Johansson is officially back to single life

Actress Scarlett Johansson has completed her divorce proceedings with Romain Dauriac, officially returning to single life.
The Avengers star quietly separated from the former French journalist last summer and decided to end their two-year marriage in March this year.

At that time, Scarlett Johansson won custody of baby Rose Dorothy (3 years old) and wanted mother and daughter to live together in New York, USA. But Romain Dauriac objected, wanting his daughter to live with him in France. The reason Romain’s lawyer gave was because Scarlett Johansson often had to leave home to film.
After that, he spoke up and asked his ex-wife to “revoke” the petition for child custody, return to the “negotiation table” so they can divorce and keep the custody battle as private as possible.

In April, the couple appeared in public, showing off their good relationship when they met at an art event in New York and happily took photos with each other.
According to Page Six, representatives of the actress and Romain filed a confidential settlement at Manhattan Supreme Court on September 12.

Scarlett Johansson and Romain Dauriac have come to a joint custody agreement.
In a joint statement released on E!News, the former couple vowed to put the past behind them and get along in peace for the sake of their only child. Details of the divorce agreement were not disclosed, but the statement clearly stated: “We remain close friends and partners with a commitment to raising our daughter in a loving environment.”

Scarlett Johansson and Romain Dauriac secretly married in October 2014, a few weeks after baby Rose was born.
This is the actress’s second divorce. She was married to actor Ryan Reynolds from 2008 to 2011. The actor was also married to Blake Lively.
Despite going through two failed marriages, Scarlett Johansson still thinks marriage is a wonderful thing. “I think the idea of marriage is very romantic,” she told Playboy earlier this year. Reality also shows that it is a good thing.”
Scarlett Johansson also did not spend too much time grieving after the divorce, she has been dating comedian Colin Jost.
