It’s the Dunder Mifflin duel we didn’t know we needed: John Krasinski and Jenna Fischer, who co-starred as one of TV’s favorite couples, Jim Halpert and Pam Beesly, on “The Office,” are apparently at odds when it comes to the Stanley Cup.

The Twitter-verse just revealed where the former onscreen soulmates’ hockey loyalties lie, pitting them against each other as the NHL Finals quickly approach. One user incited the recent online rivalry between the actors, tweeting out side-by-side photos of them repping their respective teams, with Newton native Krasinski sporting a Bruins jersey and St. Louis-raised Fischer rocking Blues merch.

In response to the team spirit comparison, Fischer wrote, “Oh boy…” to which Krasinski chimed in with an “uh oh.” Fischer followed up on the thread, which had hockey and “Office” fans alike going wild, and she later added, “This is going to be interesting…”

The duo, who are friends in real life, are famous for their long run portraying the hit sitcom’s cherished Scranton couple from 2005 to 2013. Fans fell in love while watching their relationship blossom throughout the show’s nine-season stretch, going from work friends who clearly had a crush on each other to an equally cute married couple with a family.

We’ll soon see which side of this icy Jim vs. Pam debate will come out victorious: new chairs or copier — whoops, we mean Bruins or Blues. The Stanley Cup Finals will be kicking off with Game 1 on Monday.
