“365 Days” is an erotic drama, based on the Polish best-selling book ‘Trilogy’ by ‘Blanka Lipinska’.

Polish film ‘365 Days’ starring Anna-Maria Sieklucka and Michele Morrone has been a controversial film for Netflix since its release. Because this platform is receiving too many calls to withdraw citing softcore porn content.

“365 Days” is an erotic drama, based on the Polish best-selling book ‘Trilogy’ by ‘Blanka Lipinska’. The film is about a Sicilian mafia boss who imprisons a woman and gives her a year to fall in love with him. The film contains many graphic scenes of violence, sex and nudity. The film was released theatrically in several countries in February and Netflix subsequently licensed the film.

Last Thursday, famous Welsh singer-songwriter Aimee Duffy, aka Duffy, raised her concerns by writing an open letter to Netflix chief executive Reed Hastings about the withdrawal 365 Days. According to Duffy, the film glorifies “the brutal reality of sex trafficking, kidnapping and rape.”
