To borrow the Friends parlance, could the recent leaked emails from Sony Pictures execs be any more embarrassing?

Lisa Kudrow, who played Phoebe on the popular NBC sitcom, spoke to the HuffPost Show on Friday about the litany of emails released by hackers to the web that have shed a negative light on co-chairman Amy Pascal and other members of the studio brass. The emails have included jokes about President Obama‘s taste in movies, along with disparaging remarks about Angelina Jolie, Leonardo DiCaprio, Kevin Hart and other film stars.

“Don’t write anything you don’t want broadcast,” Kudrow said when asked what people should learn from the scandal. “How come I know you don’t write anything you don’t want broadcast in an email? How come I know that? Who’s advising people?”

According to Kudrow, an email that is supposed to be confidential might still be “broadcast and published,” as “there are no rules” when it comes to leaks.

“I think we need to have more boundaries and accountability and a little personal responsibility for what we say,” the Comeback star said, joking that she has stopped having opinions about things, just to be on the safe side.
