But Jennifer Aniston looked to be taking a much needed reprieve as she casually shopped around the famed Melrose Place in Los Angeles on Wednesday.

The 48-year-old actress chose to keep things simple for her outing, opting to wear a pair of light blue jeans and a navy tank top.

She covered her bare shoulders with an army green jacket that she rolled up to her elbows.

Her jeans were also rolled up to show off her Grecian-inspired strappy sandals.

She wore a pair of classic Ray Ban aviator sunglasses to shield her eyes from the glaring Los Angeles sun.

The Horrible Bosses star completed her casual outfit with a small bag she wore criss-crossed over she shoulder.

The gorgeous star recently returned from a trip to Mexico where she celebrated her 48th birthday with husband Justin Theroux and best friend, Courteney Cox.

Recently, the star was faced with rumors that her ex-husband Brad Pitt has been texting her in the wake of his breakup with Angelina Jolie.

Jennifer, who is happily married to Justin, reportedly exchanged a couple of texts with her former flame.

Brad was able to track down Jen’s cell through ‘a tangled web’ of contacts to wish her happy birthday on February 11, the source tells Us Weekly.

The former spouses exchanged a number of texts and Brad reportedly ‘confided in Jen’.

Another source close to Brad confirmed to the DailyMail.com that the pair have been texting but says they have been doing so for some time.

The insider said contact between the pair is no big deal to either party: ‘Brad did not seek out her number. They have a relationship and are in touch.’

The friendly exes are not worrying Jen’s new husband Justin Theroux with the source telling Us that the 45-year-old is fine with Brad and Jen having a relationship.

‘Justin is OK with them being friends [as he knows] Jen just wanted to be nice.’
