Jennifer Lawrence is absent from the new Hunger Games?

The producer of the blockbuster Hunger Games series has just announced that a prequel will be released next year. The work will be set 64 years ago, before all the famous events of the film were born.
Hunger Games will return to the public in 2020 as a prequel to the famous books and films of the same name. According to Suzanne Collins, the mother of one of the best-selling book series of all time, she revealed that she is writing a new book, set 64 years ago. This prequel is expected to be released on May 19 next year.

“With this book, I want to explore the state of nature, explain who we are and what we perceive as necessary for our survival,” said the female writer. In addition, the author of The Hunger Games also revealed the context of the new part: “This is the period of reconstruction 10 years after the war, also known as the Dark Days, when the country of Panem rose up. This is also fertile ground for struggles to find and explain doubts in the view of humanity”.

It is known that the sequel to Hunger Games (including both the book and the movie) is set in a chaotic post-apocalyptic world. Here, young people are forced to fight and kill each other to win life right on live television. This part temporarily leaves behind the heroine Katniss Everdeen (played by Jennifer Lawrence), a role that impressed with the resilient fight for freedom for all villages before the decision to sacrifice fighters for this brutal pastime.
Mr. Joseph Drake, President of the Film Group at Lions Gate Entertainment Corp. said: “As the proud producers of the Hunger Games films, we can hardly wait for Suzanne’s next book to be published. We have been in touch with her throughout the writing process and look forward to continuing to work closely on the upcoming film.”

Currently, the production has not revealed any information about the roles or the famous cast that will participate in the return of the “blockbuster” this time.
Previously, Lionsgate released four Hunger Games films from 2012 to 2015. The above works belong to the best-selling books, including: The Hunger Games, Catching Fire and Mockingjay, which have sold more than 100 million copies worldwide.
