Have you Sheen this man? Ashton Kutcher posts touching tribute to Two And A Half Men co-star Jon Cryer… as speculation builds on Charlie’s finale return

Ashton Kutcher has posted a touching tribute to his Two And A Half Men co-star Jon Cryer ahead of Thursday’s final episode of the show.

The hit comedy series – which managed to survive one-and-a-half of its two-and-a-half leads abandoning it – finally comes to an end after 12 years on the air.

‘Thank you Mr. Cryer for making this job never feel like work. I will miss working with you every day. You are a true partner in every sense of the word,’ Kutcher wrote on his Facebook page along with a picture of the on-screen housemates.

‘In four years I never heard you complain and never heard you speak ill of another person even if they took advantage of your kindness and generosity. Your are a gentleman. You are a talent. You are someone I look up to. See you tomorrow night. #twoandahalfmen.’

But the big question on fans’ lips is whether or not Ashton will also see Alan Harper’s brother, the womanizing Malibu millionaire playboy, played by Charlie Sheen.

Kutcher replaced Sheen as the show’s protagonist four years ago when the latter had a famously spectacular falling out with the show’s creator Chuck Lorre; Lorre’s solution was to kill Charlie off-screen via a Paris subway train.

In it’s current form, only Cryer remains of the original main cast: the titular ‘half’ Angus T Jones, who played Cryer’s son Jake, was dumped from the show lot long after he had a bizarre online rant against the producers.

However, speculation is rife Charlie Sheen may make a cameo appearance in the show’s finale on Thursday night.

The trailer certainly hints at it: it shows a shocked Kutcher and Cryer as Walter and Alan answering the door to a mystery caller along with an ominous clap of thunder; the pair singing ‘we’ve got a secret’; and when the Harper’s mother asks ‘Charlie is still alive?’ his former lover Rose confirms ‘yeah, kind of’… although Rose is a crazy stalker who may have pushed Charlie in front of the train in the first place.

Charlie himself teased his 11.4million Twitter followers by confirming he would be making a cameo – just not neccessarily in that show.

‘Attention World: If you’re looking for my much anticipated cameo on network TV, you’ll have to check out “The Goldbergs” Wed Feb. 25th on ABC!

‘I go where the love is,’ he added not-very-cryptically, with the hashtag ‘#OfCourseI’mNot’.
