Fuller House Season 6 Can Give Aunt Becky A Proper Ending Now

Fuller House Season 6 Can Give Aunt Becky A Proper Ending Now

In the event that Fuller House moves forward with a potential season 6, it can finally provide Uncle Jesse and Aunt Becky the proper ending.

A potential Fuller House season 6 can give Aunt Becky a proper ending. The majority of the Full House cast returned for the Netflix spin-off including, Lori Loughlin who reprised her role as the wife of Uncle Jesse (John Stamos). Much like the rest of the older cast of Fuller House, Aunt Becky was only a recurring minor character in the spin-off. Despite this, it was still great to see her visit the Tanners.

For the first four seasons of the spin-off sequel, Aunt Becky regularly popped by the Tanner household, mostly alongside Uncle Jesse. That’s until Fuller House fired Loughlin after her involvement in the National College Scandal came to light. This caused the actress to miss the show’s final season, including the triple wedding of DJ (Candace Cameron-Bure), Stephanie (Jodie Sweeting), and Kimmy (Andrea Barber). Apparently, she just happened to be out of town when the celebration happened, with no means of coming back in time.

Loughlin spent time in jail for her bribery case, but two years since getting out, she is slowly starting to assimilate herself back into society. That includes reuniting with her Full House co-star, John Stamos in a recent The Beach Boys concert as seen in a social media post. Despite her crimes, many seem to be excited and supportive of her return, and in the event that Fuller House season 6 moves forward, it’s safe to say that Aunt Becky will likely be seen once again This would allow the franchise to give the character the ending she deserves. That includes seeing where her career takes her next. In the spin-off, she was supposed to take back her old hosting gig at Wake Up, San Francisco alongside Danny, but given Bob Saget’s untimely death, it would be curious how she moves forward with it. There are also questions regarding her new home life as she and Jesse deal with their adopted kid, Pamela.

How Fuller House Season 6 Should End Aunt Becky’s Story

At this point, everyone in the core Fuller House cast wants to continue the Tanner family story. Even after the unexpected demise of Saget, some of them believe that he would have wanted them to move forward with the Full House franchise without him. In the event that Fuller House season 6 really moves forward, it would be interesting to see what stories they will tackle. For Aunt Becky, in particular, the creative team would have the choice to focus on either her personal or professional life or maybe both. While the Full House spin-off tackled some stories centered on her and her family, it wasn’t nearly enough. Perhaps the show can finally see what her twins, Alex and Nicky Katsopolis have been up to since their last appearance on the spin-off. It would also be great to learn why Aunt Becky exited the show when she was suddenly called off to Nebraska during Fuller House‘s final season.

Loughlin will always be synonymous with Full House‘s Aunt Becky. The actress is best known for that role and so the chances of recasting the character are very small to none in case Fuller House season 6 moves forward. But just because the majority of the sitcom’s fan community isn’t bothered by Loughlin’s run-in with the law, doesn’t automatically mean that Netflix or any other streaming company who potentially picks up the family comedy will be onboard with her joining the Tanners again.
