Fuller House S2 trailer intros us to Kimmy’s hot brother, but who is he?

The Fuller House Season 2 trailer is finally here. As you can watch below for yourself, the usual suspects are featured, but there is one particular character who stands out and that is Kimmy’s brother, Jimmy Gibbler.

As reported by E! News in October, Adam Hagenbuch will be playing her brother, who was described as a “very much a male version of Kimmy.” At the time, no other details were given, but now we know so much more. Jimmy is a love interest for Stephanie! That’s right, the two are seen kissing and apparently Stephanie at first doesn’t realize Jimmy is a Gibbler.

In April, TVLine revealed Stephanie would have a love interest in Season 2 named Jimmy and now we know he is related to Kimmy. He is said to be a “gifted singer-songwriter” and someone who sees life “differently than the rest of the world.” Jimmy was also described as “great-looking,” “sexy” and someone who is a “touch on the weird side.” Based on the trailer, that description is quite accurate.
Who knows if the two will end up together, but Jimmy is super-cute, seems really fun and certainly has the Gibbler spirit. Seeing as how Kimmy fits in so well with the Tanners (most of the time), Jimmy may end up being Stephanie’s OTP.

Fans will just have to wait until Season 2 is released, so until then, let’s get to know the actor portraying Jimmy.

1. He was on Switched at Birth

Switched at Birth fans probably recognize Hagenbuch for his time as Mingo, who went to the same school as Daphne and was also her love interest.

2. He once played Ashton Kutcher

Remember Lifetime’s movie The Brittany Murphy Story? Well, Hagenbuch played Ashton Kutcher in it. He actually does look like the That ’70s Show actor, especially in that trucker hat.

3. He’s into cinematography

In addition to acting, Hagenbuch also knows a thing or two about cinematography. He acted as the cinematographer and operated the Steadicam for Rebel and a Basketcase’s music video “Oh Yeah.” As you’ll notice, the video also features the band’s members, Evan Rachel Wood and Zach Villa.

4. He has a theater degree

Hagenbuch went to Carnegie Mellon University’s School of Drama, where he got a theater degree. Based on this tweet, it’s clear that he also has a good sense of humor about the work he’s done, which happens to include a lot of shirtless scenes.

5. He could seriously be Kimmy’s brother

The look alike, don’t they? He was clear the right casting choice.

Who else is ready to see more from Hagenbuch as Jimmy?
