Fran Drescher’s ‘The Nanny’ Style Photos

For six seasons, Fran Drescher starred on CBS’ hit sitcom “The Nanny” as Nanny Fine. The iconic television character became known for her distinct Queens-New York accent and her eclectic and colorful wardrobe. The show received twelve Emmy nominations, winning in 1995 for Outstanding Costume Design – Series.

Nanny’s penchant for colorful outfits saw the wardrobe department deck Drescher out in Moschino, Versace, Todd Oldham and Betsey Johnson. The character became known for her signature color of red as a reference in the show’s theme song and for her love of cheetah print.
