For six seasons, Fran Drescher starred on CBS’ hit sitcom “The Nanny” as Nanny Fine. The iconic television character became known for her distinct Queens-New York accent and her eclectic and colorful wardrobe. The show received twelve Emmy nominations, winning in 1995 for Outstanding Costume Design – Series.
Nanny’s penchant for colorful outfits saw the wardrobe department deck Drescher out in Moschino, Versace, Todd Oldham and Betsey Johnson.
