Dakota Johnson’s horror movie ‘Suspiria’ teaser (50 shades of grey) is haunting even though there is no dialogue

“Suspiria” promises to continue the series of horrifying nightmares from the legacy that “Rosemary’s Baby”, “The Exorcist” or “Evil Dead” left for Hollywood.
On June 4, the first teaser of the horror masterpiece Suspiria (roughly translated: Sigh) was officially released, revealing “hair-raising” scenes and the appearance of the female main character played by Played by Dakota Johnson. Besides, Luca Guadagnino – the man behind the success of the Oscar-winning masterpiece Call Me By Your Name will be in charge of this project.

Suspiria is adapted from the original Italian horror film of the same name, produced by director Dario Argento in 1977. The main plot of the film revolves around strange phenomena coming from a school. famous ballet in the hometown of the Leaning Tower of Pisa. However, this is the dream destination of Susie Bannion – a young American dancer, who left behind all her memories and childhood to start a new life in a strange European land.

Here, Susie met many classmates who also shared the same passion (played by famous names such as ChloĆ« Grace Moretz, Mia Goth,…) and most of all, the school principal – Madame Blanc (played by by Tilda Swinton). It was thought that this would be the place to give wings to Susie’s career, but scary phenomena began to happen, leading to a never-ending nightmare for the poor girl.

This spooky product is also the reunion of the Guadagnino – Johnson – Swinton trio after the success of A Bigger Splash in 2015. The film also has the very special appearance of star Jessica Harper – the female lead of Suspiria original. After the movie wrapped, Jessica gave many compliments to the director, emphasizing that “This is the most ingenious horror movie I have ever seen.” And with Amazon’s very clever promotional campaign, Suspiria will of course make countless audiences say the above words.

Lacking the bright colors of the sunny blue sea, lacking the rows of houses and small windows of beautiful Italy, but Guadagnino and Mukdeeprom have successfully painted a picture of the late night city full of magic and stuffiness. Breathing through every second and every moment, it all seemed to add to the intense battle of wits between “girl student” Dakota Johnson and “principal” Tilda Swinton. It can be seen that Luca Guadagnino has put all his heart and soul into this product, and somewhere in every corner of Suspiria, the audience can feel the director’s ambition to dominate the 2018 Oscars.
