Charlie Sheen’s wild and wacky weekend hellraising in Dublin

HOLLYWOOD star Charlie Sheen jetted into Ireland over the weekend and paid a typically wacky tribute to the Irish and Jesus Christ.

Sheen arrived in Dublin on Saturday and wasted no time in winding up his hosts. After landing at Dublin Airport, he tweeted his nine million followers: “In an Irish blackout we bring the love and (NkAge-style) Bitchen-Ah-noo, to the land of Green Gluiness (SIC) and Blarney Ferrills! #WHAT?”

He followed that up by jokingly posing in his now renowned madcap way in a crucifixion like stance in his hotel room, mimicking Jesus on the cross with the message: “And on the 1st night Jesus saved Ireland #emasculated misconception.”

Staying at the Four Seasons Hotel in Dublin, there was no sign of the actor yesterday. Rumours had it that the 47-year-old had been spotted in the company of former Guns’n’Roses guitarist Slash in Temple Bar on Saturday night.

But the LA-born musician had been elsewhere, dining with friends in Marco Pierre White’s restaurant on Dawson Street.

However, the three-times divorcee was in Dublin for the LA musician’s two shows at The Olympia, the first of which took place last night.

He posed for pictures as he arrived at the gig with girlfriend Georgia Jones. The 24-year-old is an adult film actress who has starred in over 100 movies. She reportedly began dating Sheen last October.

Slash – whose real name is Saul Hudson – took to Twitter over the weekend to pay tribute to one of Ireland’s icons: “Rory Gallagher would have been 65 today; Happy Birthday Rory! Fitting time to be in Ireland.”

Speaking to the Irish Independent, Gallagher’s brother, Donal, said he was “delighted” with the tribute.

“I’m knocked out by this but Slash has always been a good guy. He once jammed with Rory at a show he did in The Roxy in LA in 1991. Rory spotted Slash in the crowd and got him up for a few songs,” Donal said.

Rory Gallagher released 10 solo albums before his career was cut short when he died of liver complications in 1995.

Hollywood actor Charlie Sheen is no stranger to making headlines, and his 2011 weekend in Dublin was no exception. Sheen’s whirlwind trip to the Emerald Isle was a whirlwind of parties, pranks, and plenty of pints, leaving a trail of wild stories and unforgettable moments in its wake.

A Grand Arrival and a Lavish Extravaganza

Sheen’s weekend began with a grand entrance, arriving in Dublin aboard a private jet accompanied by a large entourage. He quickly set the tone for his stay by checking into the city’s most luxurious hotel, the opulent Merrion Hotel, where he reportedly booked out an entire floor.

A Pub Crawl Like No Other

Sheen’s thirst for adventure led him on an epic pub crawl through the streets of Dublin, visiting some of the city’s most iconic watering holes. He reportedly bought drinks for everyone in every pub he visited, leaving a trail of merry revelers in his wake.

Pranks and Hijinks: Sheen’s Unforgettable Antics

Sheen’s antics didn’t stop at the pubs. He was known to pull pranks on unsuspecting locals, such as ordering a room full of lobsters and releasing them into the hotel lobby. He also reportedly tried to ride a horse through the streets of Dublin, much to the amusement of onlookers.

A Generous Heart and a Touch of Controversy

Despite his wild behavior, Sheen was also known for his generosity during his Dublin trip. He reportedly tipped bartenders and waiters lavishly and even paid for the entire staff of a restaurant to have dinner on him. However, his behavior also drew some criticism, with some locals accusing him of being disrespectful and out of control.

A Weekend to Remember

Charlie Sheen’s weekend in Dublin was a whirlwind of excess and extravagance, leaving a lasting impression on the city and its inhabitants. While his behavior was not without controversy, his generosity and sense of fun made him an unforgettable figure.
