Actor Nick Pasqaul was arrested in Texas on May 29, 2024, on charges that he broke into his ex-girlfriend Allie Shehorn’s home in Los Angeles and repeatedly stabbed her. The alleged stabbing occurred on May 23, three days after she was granted a restraining order against him, and she was reportedly stabbed between 20 and 30 times.

Following the news of Nick’s arrest, which came after he apparently attempted to flee the country, many want to better understand who Nick is as an actor. Specifically, they wanted to learn more about what role he played on How I Met Your Mother, the popular sitcom that ran for almost a decade on CBS.

What was Nick Pasqual’s role on ‘How I Met Your Mother’?

According to Nick’s IMDb profile, he played a character named Will in one episode of the show that aired in 2011. The episode, which was part of Season 7 and is called “Field Trip,” focuses in part on Ted taking his architecture class on a field trip. Will is one of the students on that trip, and while he has a couple of lines, the role is not significant enough that even a major fan of the show would remember which episode he appeared in.

Nick has picked up parts like that throughout his career, and more recently appeared in Rebel Moon and Gone.

Following the news of his arrest, the Los Angeles county district attorney weighed in on the seriousness of the alleged attack.

“This heinous incident is a stack reminder of the dangers of domestic violence,” George Gascon said in a press release. “We will ensure that the individual responsible for this egregious act is held accountable for their actions.”

According to a GoFundMe, Allie, who is an award-winning make-up artist, was left in intensive care following the attack. Nick fled California following the incident, and was arrested at the U.S./Mexico border. He will now be extradited to California, where he is expected to face charges of attempted murder.
