This isn’t just one of Jenna’s best lines on The Office — it’s easily one of the best quotes from the show period. She utters it while drunk at the annual Dundies award show at Scranton’s local Chili’s restaurant. Iconic.

SEASON 3, EPISODE 25

Without context, this isn’t a very exciting quote. Pam says it after Jim Halpert surprises her by asking her out to dinner during one of the show’s confessionals. It’s considered one of the most momentous scenes from the series.

SEASON 4, EPISODES 1 AND 2

When Michael Scott finds out Meredith Palmer has rabies, he tries to make up for hitting her with his car by organizing a fun run to “cure” the disease. That left poor receptionist Pam to say this ridiculous line to whoever called the office that day.

The full quote is actually, “Dwight mercy-killed Angela’s cat. It’s very complicated. It’s caused a lot of unpleasantness between Dwight and Angela, who are both already prone to unpleasantness.” This is one great example of Pam getting a little bit sassy on the show for once.
