Characters From The Office We Find Every Day At Work

With so much drama going on in your own office, who has time to come home and watch a bunch of fictional characters dealing with their own struggles in a man-made corporate set-up? Well, thanks to Michael Scott and his co. from the Scranton branch of Dunder Mifflin Inc.; we ended up spending sleepless nights doing exactly that, absolutely unbothered about the presentation we have to submit the next day.

The Office has been here from the time when most of us didn’t even know what corporate meant, so we laughed it off each time Michael Scott said something stupid or when Jim and Dwight were at loggerheads.

But, now when we rewatch it for probably the 20th time while sitting at our desk, we realise how we actually relate with certain characters. We even meet some people who are exactly like these characters and there’s nothing funny about them (sometimes there is).

So, we’ve compiled a list of characters from The Office that reminds us of someone at work:

Michael Scott – A Boss That Everyone Loves…To Hate
We all have dealt with or are dealing with a boss like Michael, who is basically a living synonym for a nightmare. He might be a great team leader who will encourage you to reach for the sky and genuinely means well, but he is also clueless, a narcissist and the real problem of the office.

But, truth be told, there wouldn’t be an ‘Office’, if there’s no Michael Scott in it.

Dwight Schrute – Boss’ Pet And An A**licker
He is a power-hungry guy who can go to any lengths to get his work done, and show the world how he is a knight in the shining armour. He is someone whose talents often get overshadowed by his lack of common sense and the competitive attitude that gets on people’s nerves. He acts as a know-it-all and will do anything to appease his boss, but in reality he is really naive and would have burned the whole office down, if he had his way.

Jim Halpert – The Perfect Package

He is good looking, hard working, funny, talented, a heartthrob and someone the entire office has a crush on – that in a nutshell is Jim Halpert and we all have that one guy in every workplace. And chances are he will also be the one, dating or in a relationship with one of the hottest women in the office or at least be involved in some twisted love story that’s ideally prohibitted at workplace.
