Can Stamos Still Return As Uncle Jesse In Fuller House Season 6
Previously, Stamos said that he is no longer interested in reprising the role of Uncle Jesse in case the opportunity to do Fuller House season 6 comes up. Netflix canceled Fuller House after season 5, but some cast members have been vocal about still having stories to tell. Even after Danny Tanner actor, Bob Saget died, many of the actors involved in both Full House and its spin-off series say that they are open to reuniting on the small screen for another show. Stamos, on the other hand, is firm on his decision, explaining that it would just not be the same without Saget.

It’s difficult to imagine any iteration of Full House without Stamos’ Uncle Jesse. While both shows are ensemble projects, the character is integral to the franchise’s success. His relationship with Michelle in the original show was heartwarming to watch. Seeing him become the devoted father and husband in Fuller House was equally touching. It’s also worth noting that Stamos was a big proponent for reviving the family sitcom, so it would be odd without him if the Tanners ever return to the small screen.
For what it’s worth, the fact that Stamos is still close to Coulier and many of his Full House co-stars means that there’s a chance that he could be convinced to come back as Uncle Jesse in a new project. The important thing is that the proposed show has a solid premise that’s interesting to both Stamos and the audience. Finally and perhaps more importantly, it should also honor the legacy of Danny and Saget.
