Watch Candace Cameron Bure and Scott Weinger Reenact Sweet Full House Scene

Oh Mylanta! The laughs don’t stop for Candace Cameron Bureand Scott Weinger when the cameras stop rolling on the set of Netflix’s Fuller House.

In a series of hilarious behind-the-scenes Instagram videos shared by the mother-of-three, the on-screen couple is seen trying to reenact a famous scene from Full House. It’s the one when Steve Hale confesses his love for D.J. Tanner and she replies with a simple, “Thank you!” Only problem is, the actors originally filmed the scene back in the ’90s when Full House was still on the air, so they had a bit of trouble trying to remember exactly how the iconic scene went.

In one of the clips, Weinger is seen coaching his costar through the scene, telling her which line comes next.

“How many of you remember this legendary scene?!” Candace captioned the video. “Well glad you remembered because @scottweinger and I sure couldn’t,” she admitted. “Took us a few tries, but we kinda figured it out.”

While they might have missed a few words, when it comes to reprising their roles as high school sweethearts turned soulmates, these two haven’t missed a beat. Cameron Bure concluded with the hashtags #fullhouse; #fullerhouse; and their on-screen names combined,
To make the nostalgia even sweeter, Weinger commented on his costar’s Instagram post, writing, “You still got me crazy, DJ!” Too cute!

Back in 2016, Cameron Bure and Weinger reprised their roles of D.J. and Steve for the premiere of Fuller House, the Netflix spin-off of the ’90s classic, Full House. The show, which will air its fifth and final season in the fall, has proven to be a huge success, winning countless awards including Favorite Family TV Show at the Kids’ Choice Awards in both 2016 and 2018.

But soon it will be time to say goodbye to these beloved characters who’ve become household names yet again. As if it wasn’t hard enough the first time around–we cried so hard as they all entered the kitchen for what we thought was the final time. Cameron Bure isn’t looking forward to it, either.

“I’m not going to think about saying goodbye,” she told Entertainment Tonight. “I’m just going to pretend like it’s not ending. I don’t want to think about it. I’m already prepared for the wrap, but I wish we weren’t wrapping…I wish it were not our final season. I would do this show forever for the rest of my life.” Don’t worry, there’s still hope for yet another revival. “Co-stars Jodie Sweetin, Andrea Barber and I joke that we’ll be coming back for Fullest House! We’ll be the Golden Girls of Full House. You never know!”

As for what’s to come in the final season of Fuller House, the actress teased a possible wedding!

“I think there’s gonna be some wedding bells!” she revealed. “I think probably wedding bells—who knows for which couple, but we have plenty to choose from.”
