Matt LeBlanc Reveals Why He Won’t Be Guest-Starring On His ‘Friends’ Co-Stars’ New Shows

There can never be too many Friends reunions, in my opinion.

Sure, we just got a big reunion where the entire cast got together and talked about the impact the show has had on them, on fans, and on the world, and we got some Carpool Karaoke content with the entire gang too, but that doesn’t mean we don’t want more! Matt LeBlanc dashed some of our dreams in a new interview, but his reasons make pretty good sense.

The ‘Friends’ cast has been pretty busy.

We’ve had Courteney Cox on Shining Vale and Cougar Town, Jennifer Aniston on The Morning Show, Lisa Kudrow on Space Force, Matthew Perry on The Odd Couple — there’s been a lot of work for the gang if they wanted it!

But don’t expect Matt LeBlanc to pop up on The Morning Show any time soon.

Matt recently attended the Children’s Hospital Los Angeles Gala.

“I don’t think you need to be a parent to realize the great work that they’re doing here,” Matt said on the red carpet of the event. “I got involved with the hospital — I was working with CBS, and they do a thing where the network kind of gets some actors from their shows, and they come down around Christmas time and hand out toys to the kids.”

“Some of the kids had no idea who I was, but their moms or siblings or whoever did, and it was just…”

“To see the looks on their faces, and just to kind of witness firsthand how great the hospital is and the work that they do, it’s incredible,” he said.

Then he was asked if he’d appear on any of his former co-star’s TV shows, and his answer is not the one we wanted to hear.

“I’m taking some time off right now,” he said.

“I’m just enjoying not having to do anything — it’s been kinda nice. Sorry, I’ll let you know when I do,” he went on.

I guess we can’t blame him for that!
