What the child stars of Young Sheldon cast all look like now compared to the first season

They’ve all grown up so much!

The first season of Young Sheldon first aired back in 2017 and we’ve seen some serious cast transformations in the seven years since the show began.  Over the past seven years fans of the show have watched some of their favourite actors grow up. It’s wild to think the main cast were all just kids when it first aired and are now fully fledged teenagers and even adults.

In that time as the child stars in the Young Sheldon cast have grown up they’ve had some pretty serious transformations. Here’s a rundown of what the child cast of Young Sheldon looked like in their first episodes of season one and what they look like now, seven years later.

Iain Armitage

The titular character and star of Young Sheldon Iain Armitage is also the casts’ youngest actor. Not only is he the youngest cast member but he is also reportedly the highest paid per episode and at the age of 15 years old already has a net worth of $6million.

Raegan Revord

Throughout the period of seven seasons, we saw Raegan grow  from a tiny nine-year-old to a full on teenager. She’s 16 now and looks so much more grown up from the little kid we met when the show aired in 2017.

Montana Jordan

As the older brother to Sheldon and Missy, Montana was slightly older than his child actor co-stars and was 14 when the show started in 2017. Montana is now 21 years old and is so grown up that he has a child of his own! His daughter, named Emma Rae, was born in May this year and fans have speculated that the newborn’s middle name is a tribute to his Young Sheldon co-star Raegan Revord, as the spelling matches her first name.

Mckenna Grace

Despite only being in nine episodes, Paige was a hugely popular character. Being a genius turned rebel, she had one of the most interesting storylines and it’s a real shame it wasn’t explored more throughout the show. Mckenna Grace, who is now 17, has been acting since she was four years old and joined the cast of Young Sheldon for its second season in 2017 when she was just 11.
