The third 365 Days movie is *very* coming, and there are still more to come
The second 365 Days movie may have only recently hit Netflix, but the great news is that there’s a third movie in the series – so there’s definitely more to come. 365 Days 3 has been filmed, has a release date, and since it’s based on a book, we already know most of the details about it.
Yes, it has a lot of sex scenes and very little plot, but there’s always a surprising ending that makes us want to see more and more. And the idea of another hour and a half movie full of Massimo doesn’t sound so bad. Netflix has confirmed that we’ll be releasing the third movie in August, so here’s a list of what we’re still working on if the book continues.
365 Days on Netflix is a film adaptation of the first of three books by Blanka Lipińska, of which 365 Days: This Day is an adaptation of the second book. The three books were published throughout 2018 and 2019 and are classified as “erotic and romantic” – commonly known as 50 Shades of Polish. The three books are 365 dni (365 days), Ten dzień (That day) and Kolejne 365 dni (365 more days).
A lot happened at the end of 365 Days: This Day on Netflix. The ending is a confrontation between Massimo, Nacho, Anna (Massimo’s old flame) and Adriano (Massimo’s twin) – who is hugging Laura. Laura escapes and then Anna shoots Laura, Nacho shoots Anna and Massimo shoots his brother Adriano. If you really want spoilers, Laura doesn’t appear to be dead. Netflix announced that in the third film, actress Anna-Maria Sieklucka will return as Laura.
The third book is another wild ride. The Goodreads summary of the Polish book, translated, reads: “Pregnant Laura is shot. The best doctor’s fight for a woman’s life. Her husband, the head of the Sicilian mafia, must make the most difficult decision of his life – who will save: his beloved or their child. What choice will Massimo make? Does life without Laura still make sense to him? Will he be able to raise their son alone? A million thoughts swirled in his head but none of them brought relief. He did not know what his family’s fate would be. Whose 365 days will he follow in the third part of the story?
Laura lost her and Massimo’s baby in the accident at the end of the first film, so she doesn’t appear to be pregnant at the end of the second film – as far as we know. But maybe she is?
Another synopsis reads: “As the wife of Don Massimo Torricelli, one of the most dangerous Mafia bosses in Sicily, Laura’s life is a rollercoaster. She is constantly in danger, becoming a potential target of Massimo’s unscrupulous enemies, who will stop at nothing to destroy the powerful man.” So perhaps there will be more threats to Laura.
Oh, not to mention the third part of the book is about Laura needing a heart transplant, Massimo killing her dog and sending it to her in a box, Laura becoming an alcoholic and Laura getting pregnant again – a Again. Of course, the heart transplant will be arranged by Nacho.
The third movie is coming out – and it will be called 365 Days: 365 Days Next. The third book and movie will be the last in the series so Laura and Massimo’s story will end here. The second and third seasons were filmed back-to-back for Netflix, so filming has ended.
The third film will be released on August 19, Anna-Maria Sieklucka and Michele Morrone will return as Laura and Massimo. Don’t worry, Simone Susinna also returns as Nacho, and Magdalena Lamparska and Otar Saralidze will return as Olga, Laura’s best friend and Massimo’s right-hand man, Domenico.
“One thing that remains constant in the books and movies… there will be sex, sex and even more sex,” author Blanka Lipińska wrote on Instagram about the third movie. I can’t wait.
